Dear wine professionals!
Latvian Association of Sommeliers was founded on 3rd of October 2002. It is a voluntary public non-profit organisation that associates the physical and legal entities, which are professionally related to the choice, purchase, sale and serving of wine and other drinks.
According to its Statutes, the objective of the Association is to develop wine culture in , and its direct task is to organize professional training of wine waiters and their certification.
The members of the Association may be physical or legal entities, which recognise the Association Statutes.
The founders of the Association in 2002 were Valentīna Grandāne, Romāns Komars, Guntis Bērziņš , Einārs Zalcmanis and Ingmārs Kūlnieks.
The Board of the Association in 2011 consists of Raimonds Tomsons (chairman), Valentīna Grandāne, Mārcis Mitrēvics, Romāns Komars, Aigars Lukstinš..
